Wiz Khalifa - Taylor Allderdice review

It's been beyond a minute since i've done review so i thought it's about time i hope back on that cycle and hopefully make this thing a regular occurrence. Now on to the mixtape i'm going to be reviewing, Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Allderdice. Wiz has been in the game for a long time and most people don't know that so i give him props for staying stuff and believing in his product. He blew up on a big time level after the success of Kush & Orange Juice and then blew up on a world wide level after Black & Yellow. We all thought his Album Rolling papers was going to follow suit and blow this guy up so high the weed he's smoking is gonna feel like smoking dandelions. Well it didn't. Rolling papers was a disappointment, i know that, you know that and Wiz knows that recently releasing what most people would take as an apology for how Rolling papers turned out. Over the past year it seems like Wiz has been trying to revert back to his old weed talking ways on smooth ass beats and this is show cased at it's most on this mixtape. The word that came to my mind when i was half way through this mixtape was smooth, this shit is smooth. The whole mixtape is laid out like Wiz is having an interview which are essentially introductions to his songs which i felt was quite cool. The beats are nice, i noticed he used the same beat on the first song that Curren$y used on his mixtape Verde Terrace but i have not problem with that cause i like the beat. So far i've been reading people saying Wiz needs to change up his lyrics all he talks about is Money, Girls and WEED WEED WEED. Yo. What the fuck are you looking for when you listen to wiz khalifa ? Deep meaningful lyrics that make you want to change your whole outlook on life and start volunteering in africa. That's never going to happen, my whole notion is if i want to listen to some mind provoking shit i'll go listen to artists that can give me it instead of bitching when someone else can't.   Though most of the beats sound similar and lyrics may feel repetitive, i feel all and all this mixtape is really chilled out and something nice to listen to when you are just trying to chill and vibe to music.

I'm going to give this mixtape a 6/10
